In Hebrew, when we say "seek God first," it implies diligently searching for and inquiring about God with the intention of making Him the primary focus and priority in our lives. These initial words set the tone for the entirety of Scripture, emphasizing the preeminence of God in the creation of the universe.  If we want to see the mighty right hand of God in action (in our favor), we are called to recognize the importance of placing God first in our lives.
